Lightning Delivery is a growing local delivery service in Springfield, Mo.

We are looking for mobile waiters that currently live inside Springfield's City Limits. This is a contracted position; you'll be paid per order + tips.  

Our hours of operation are: Sun-Thurs 11am-9pm & Fri-Sat 11am-Midnight

Job Description:

Receive an order through text message; pick up food from the restaurant and deliver it to the customer. While in-between orders your time is your own, though you need to be ready for the next order.

Its an easy job that expects a lot, thats the best way to put it. You pick your own hours; we just ask that your availability stay the same each week. We provide several growth opportunities;

• Part time work We offer great hours for someone currently working a day job or going to school
• Full time work Put in as much time as you want, more time your available more orders you take.
• Franchising Purchase your very own Lightning Delivery license while getting trained and working for us at the same time.  

How much money can I expect to make? Thats up to you, but here are a few pointers.

• The more available time you have, the more orders you receive.
• Your professionalism, attention to detail on orders and strong customer relations will go a long way in tips.

Pay per order is based off the distance between restaurant and customers house. Delivery pay ranges from $3.99 to $10 dollars @ approximately $1.50 per mile. With an additional .20 to a $1 per order based on experience.     

A driver available 35-50 hours a week can expect to make $300 to $500 week plus about $100-$300 in tips per week.

How do we choose who gets which orders? They are sent to which ever driver the dispatcher feels will complete the order first. Typically the driver that is closest to the restaurant will receive the order.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years of delivery service experience preferred
• 21 years of age
• Clean driving record /w insurance     
• Reliable and effective vehicle  
• Basic math skills and the ability to count change back
• Presentable with an upbeat disposition
• Must be very friendly and personable
• Must have a smart phone with data & text plan
